PROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW
The Professional Interview is a peer review process comprising an examination on the professional competency of the candidate by interviewers with respect to:
a) Grasping and application of engineering fundamentals.
b) Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
c) Demonstration of ethical judgment in the conduct of all works.

c) Demonstration of ethical judgment in the conduct of all works.
e) Awareness of engineering sustainability, health and safety issues.
f) Appreciation of regulation and control/codes and standards.
A successful candidate in the Professional Interview would have demonstrated professional competence in the areas listed above.
2.0 Documents required
Each Candidate is required to submit:
a) Well detailed Training and Experience Report which shall form the summary of work experience.
– Three (3) copies of well bound report printed on A4 paper with relevant drawings giving an account of all training and experience in a chronological order.
b) A well detailed work experience shall be named “Technical Report”
– Three (3) copies of the report printed on A4 paper with supporting sheets, statistical calculations, tables, work schedules, payment schedules, drawings and/or diagrams duly certified
by a COREN registered Engineer.
– The report shall include one or more of the following categories; Design Work, Feasibility Study if any, Research and Development Work if any undertaking, Operation and Maintenance Work
in industrial project.
c) All relevant supporting certificates shall be original and photocopy shall duly be endorsed by each Candidate’s Embassy in Nigeria.
All certification documents must be signed by supervising Engineer or Mentor who must be COREN Registered.
d) Where applicants’ certificates/transcripts are not in English language, such must obtain the English translation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.
