The Registrar of COREN, Engr. Prof. Okorie Austin Uche, FNSE, today received the Registrar/CEO of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN), Dr. Isa Salifu, FCGFA, FCCFI, on a courtesy visit at COREN Headquarters, Abuja.
The visit focused on deepening collaboration following the MoU signed in March 2024, with discussions centered on:
- Enhancing training and certification processes
- Implementing joint oversight and capacity-building initiatives
- Tackling certificate forgery and malpractice
- Strengthening regulatory synergy across engineering and forensic sectors
- Exploring sustainable funding options
